Shanmukhananda Sabha, as part of its 60th year anniversary celebrations , organised a grand programme to honour the living legend , MBBS , Padmabushan and Sangeetha kalanidhi Shri Shripada Pinakapani, the venerable Guru of Shri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy and also the Malladi Brothers.
The 12th evening saw a sizeable gathering despite the previous day skirmishes at the heart of Mumbai
Since Shri Pinakapani has entered into his 100th year , the Sabha honoured the great musician through CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS and his son was present to accept the felicitation.
After the felicitation, the disciples Dr. K. Saraswathi Vidyardhi & Kum. K. Lahari presented varnams composed by Dr. Pinakapani. This was followed a terrific vocal concert by Shri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy. The Malladi Brothers sang Annamacharya Kritis.
